Applicants that fail either one of the above steps, may be eliminated from the pool of candidates. As a result, Jel Sert will evaluate your current employment status.
By accepting a Corporate position, your membership, seniority, and any other benefits you have as a Bargaining Unit employee will end upon the date of transfer.
You will not be able to transfer back into the Bargaining Unit and/or into your previously held position. Any vacation earned as a Bargaining Unit employee will be paid out on the first pay period as a Corporate employee You will be able to keep your original hire date with the company and accrue vacation as a Corporate employee based on your original hire date

You will be eligible to enroll into the Corporate Health plans only during open enrollment (May/June) with an effective date of July 1st.
If on a CBU Health Care Plan, you will stay on your current plan until Corporate Benefits Open enrollment. You will be eligible to enroll separately into the Corporate 401K plan If currently enrolled in the CBU 401K plan, you will not be able to roll the funds over into the Corporate Plan.

The Sr. Manager Social Commerce Activation is responsible for spearheading our social commerce initiatives across Meta platforms, TikTok Shop, and other relevant channels, with a strong focus on affiliate and creator marketing. This role drives significant revenue growth and innovation through social commerce channels, shaping our overall digital sales strategy, managing creator relationships, and positioning our brand at the forefront of social commerce trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term social commerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives, including affiliate and creator marketing initiatives.
- Meet or exceed targets for profitable eCommerce sales and strategic objectives across all social commerce channels, including affiliate and creator-driven sales.
- Lead the integration of social commerce, affiliate marketing, and creator collaborations into our broader sales and marketing strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with heads of sales, marketing, product, and operations, as well as key content creators, influencers, and affiliates to ensure seamless execution of social commerce initiatives.
- Oversee the analysis of key performance metrics across all social commerce channels, including affiliate and creator programs, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Lead the ideation and development of innovative social commerce features and experiences, collaborating with creators and affiliates to produce compelling content and campaigns.
- Establish and maintain best practices for social commerce, affiliate marketing, and creator collaborations within the organization and industry, ensuring compliance with FTC guidelines and platform policies.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Amazon), content creators, and other relevant stakeholders in the social commerce ecosystem.
- Continuously optimize social commerce strategies, including affiliate and creator programs, based on performance data and emerging trends.
- Design and implement incentive structures and tools that empower creators and affiliates to effectively drive traffic and sales to our ecommerce channels.
- Manage and optimize the company's Shopify store, ensuring seamless integration with social commerce initiatives and maximizing its performance as a key D2C channel.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the company's D2C business, including customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value optimization across owned platforms and social commerce channels.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of D2C-exclusive products or bundles, collaborating with product and marketing teams to create compelling offerings that leverage social commerce trends.
- Implement and manage customer relationship management (CRM) strategies for D2C channels, including email marketing campaigns and personalized shopping experiences, to drive engagement and repeat purchases.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events as a thought leader in social commerce, affiliate marketing, and creator collaborations.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience with a CPG food or beverage company.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Social and Social Commerce
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Proven track record of consistently growing eCommerce businesses.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple social commerce channels to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience with content creation for shoppable posts and live shopping events.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
- Ability to succeed in a customer focused sales organization.
- Experience creating sales presentations and developing customer programs.
- Ability to develop creative solutions to business opportunities by thinking “outside the box”.
- Excellent communication skills – able to present ideas effectively, listen actively, and work across functional boundaries.
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing strategies, platforms, and best practices.
- Excellent relationship management skills, particularly in working with content creators and influencers.
- Ability to analyze and interpret affiliate and creator performance data to inform strategic decisions.
- Knowledge of influencer marketing trends and best practices across various social media platforms.
- Experience with affiliate link tracking and attribution models.
- Familiarity with influencer contracts and negotiation processes.
- Understanding of social commerce features on platforms like TikTok Shop and Amazon, as they relate to affiliate and creator marketing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Works out of a home office along with traveling up to 30% of the time.
